After some encouragement from my wife, Lee-Ann, I After some encouragement from my wife, Lee-Ann, I decided that I needed to “dress up” the original presentation I had for my smaller paintings. Working with Northwood Framing we came up with these small tabernacle frames that relate nicely with my other Flower Icon Pieces. I think they add greatly to the presentation and will be exhibited in my upcoming show at Gallery 1261. The largest of the Flower Icon series, “After the The largest of the Flower Icon series, “After the Rain”, is finally finished and ready for my solo show at Gallery 1261 in Denver (October 24-November 12). 22” x 18”, Egg Tempera with 23K Gold Leaf and Malachite Cabochons and sgraffito frame.
